Task Settings

Default Reminders

You can get reminded of your upcoming Tasks either by email or by both device and in-app notification. The Default Reminders lets you specify the defaults for all reminders and are applied to all of your Tasks with due dates. Although you can override these values with their own reminder settings at any time, this is a great way to ensure you get reminded for your upcoming Tasks.

  1. In the Sidebar, click on Settings
  2. Select Tasks
  3. Click Add Default Reminder
  4. Specify the Method of the reminder (Notification or Email)
  5. Specify the number of Days Before the due date you would like to receive a reminder
    • A value of '0' will send a reminder on the day the Task is due
  6. Add any additional reminders
  7. Click Save

note

In the above example a Notification will be delivered 2 days before the task is due and an Email notification will be sent 1 day before the task is due.

info

Task reminder emails and notifications are sent at approximately 7am.

Task Completion

Some users like to see their list of completed Tasks while others like to see Tasks disappear as soon as they are completed. You can set this disappearance behavior with the Task Completion setting.

  1. In the Sidebar, click on Settings
  2. Select Tasks
  3. Select either Immediately or End of Day
  4. Click Save.

Image

Set to Immediately if you want completed Tasks and Subtasks to be hidden as soon as they are completed. Set to End of Day if you want completed Tasks and Subtasks to remain visible until the end of the day (11:59PM).

tip

The "Hide Completed Subtasks" Task View setting will not hide subtasks that were completed that day if Task Completion is set to End of Day (i.e. the Task Completion setting takes precedence).
